One key feature this Open House will be the presentation of a robust and coherent 6-year educational pathway that was announced by Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports, Dr Vivian Balakrishnan on 2 April 2009 at the School's 5th anniversary celebrations. The 6-year talent development programme will be instrumental to fully realising a student-athlete’s sporting and scholastic potential, and enhancing the quality and increasing the quantity of young sports talents in Singapore.
The Open House will provide important insights into the Sports School’s resolute endeavour to nurture the future of Singapore Sport Champions in sports, academics and character. It will provide your students an opportunity to have their sports talents assessed by professional coaches and sports scientists and a chance to interact with our national athletes.
