National Library Book Exchange
Dear 6B,
In case you are interested...
Event: The Book Exchange (Where used books become new reads!)
Organizer: Public Libraries Singapore, NLB
Date: 25 Apr 2009, Saturday
Venue: The Plaza, National Library Building, 100 Victoria Street.
How is the Exchange of used books done? Simply drop off your used books at any NLB public library from 11-24 Apr 2009 from 11- 8pm.
On 25 Apr, collection is only done at The Plaza, National Library Building => For each used book dropped off, you will receive an exchange coupon indicating a one-for-one exchange. => Bring your coupon(s) to the Plaza on 25 Apr to redeem used books.
Terms and conditions Each person can exchange up to a maximum of 30 used books (preferrably in good condition!). We accept children's and adults' fiction and non-fiction books (eg. cookbooks, travel guides and romance novels) in any of the four official languages. Textbooks, magazines and audio-visual materials are not accepted. Plastic bags will not be provided on event day. For more information, please visit www.pl.sg. Purpose of presentation : - for parents to know more about ACS (I) programmes and perhaps include ACS (I) as their preferred choice for their son's secondary education. Boys who achieved excellence in Sports and Games will have a decided advantage when they are considered for admission in to ACS (I).
